Jeanette Mulvey, VP B2B Content
Since that day in kindergarten when she stood at her backyard fence and sold the contents of a birthday party goody bag to the neighborhood kids, Jeanette Mulvey has been obsessed with starting her own business. Hardly a day has passed in her adult life that she hasn't uttered the phrase, "I have a business idea." So, it was a natural fit that she would end up writing about entrepreneurship for a living. In the decades since, she has interviewed hardware store owners in Saskatchewan, fashion designers in Milan and eyewear designers in Paris. She also started and sold her own ecommerce startup. However, her real small business education came while running her family contracting business where she got a firsthand lesson in everything from payroll processing to collections. She has a degree in American Studies and is passionate about American folk art.
