Looking for a home-based business idea? A new book aims to talk you through the process of becoming a phone-sex operator.

Author D.L. Johnson offers tips for getting started in the just-released The Pillow Talk Guide, an e-book that gives the scoop on the nearly $5-billion-a-year adult phone line industry.

While she admits the profession isn't for everyone, Johnson said she wrote the book to help women understand the pros and cons of becoming an at-home operator.

The book's first few sections are geared toward having the reader take a good look at themselves, family and friends by answering a few questions about their personality and relationships. They're designed to help the reader decide whether or not to forge ahead.

The remaining sections explain what type of callers to expect, how to handle the calls, what taxes to expect and how to set up a home office and acquire the necessary support resources for home-based businesses.

The Pillow Talk Guide eBook is available for download at Amazon.com and Smashwords.com for $5.99.
