The MSRP for the Brother MFC-L9570CDW is $1,899.99. It's only sold through authorized dealer partners such as Staples. Also, Brother offers supplies, such as toner, paper trays and other accessories, which are available for purchase on its website.

For midsized companies or businesses that have more printing needs than the average small business, Brother recommends the MFC-L9570CDW. It's a laser all-in-one printer that offers color copying functionality along with the capability to print, scan and fax. If you like this model but are concerned that from a cost or volume perspective, it's not well suited for your business, Brother sells a similar model but geared toward small workgroups.

The MFC-L957OCDW prints and copies documents at speeds of 33 pages per minute. The 250-sheet paper tray, which is standard, can be expanded to hold up to 1,300 pages. And, like most modern all-in-one printers, auto-duplex comes standard on this machine. The Brother's monthly page duty cycle is  80,000 pages per month.

The MFC-L9570CDW comes with several user-friendly, modern features. Its 7-inch touchscreen display lets users create 64 shortcuts. You can also connect to the cloud to print documents. Services including Dropbox or Google Drive all integrate with the MFC-L9570CDW. And users can print directly from tablets or smartphones, using applications such as AirPrint or Google Cloud Print. Scanning to mobile devices is also possible.

The MFC-L9570CDW comes with several built-in security features. An integrated NFC card reader is included, which requires authentication to use the printer. Badge authentication also eliminates unauthorized access and can streamline costs (and prevent unnecessary printing).

For businesses that don't have a lot of space, the MFC-L9570CDW is compact and can easily fit on a table or desk. It weighs 65 pounds and measures 19.5 x 20.7 x 21.6 inches.

Brother offers free online, phone and live chat support for the life of the printer – a nice perk for startups and small companies that may not have an IT department or staff.

The MFC-L9570CDW isn't the fastest printer; other units we evaluated are capable or printing a larger amount of document in less time. And for small businesses that have heavy printing needs, e.g., you print your own marketing materials, the volume of this Brother printer and copier may not be sufficient.
