Tired of having to sit at a computer to run your Twitter ad campaigns? Good news: Now you can promote your Tweets and manage your ads on the go.
The Twitter Ads companion is a new tool integrated into the Twitter mobile app (no additional downloads necessary). It allows advertisers to access and monitor their active campaigns and review their past campaigns from mobile devices, according to the company's advertising blog.
So how does the Twitter Ads companion work? Advertisers can use the tool to do three main things:
- Monitor campaign performance:Advertisers have access to a summary of all their campaigns as well as the ability to check on specific campaigns. This includes impressions, engagements, engagement rate, cost per engagement and how much they're spending.
- Optimize campaigns:With the Twitter Ads companion, advertisers can now extend or pause campaigns, change their schedules, edit campaign bids and adjust an ad campaign's allocated budget, all from the mobile app. [Twitter for Business: Everything You Need to Know ]
- Respond to campaign notifications:Twitter notifies advertisers via email when things change in their campaigns, like when a campaign's budget is running low, for example. With this addition to the mobile app, advertisers can simply click the link in the email and make the changes right from their mobile devices.
To use the Twitter Ads companion, you must already have a Twitter Ads account. Advertisers new to Twitter Ads can create an account here to get started.
Android users can access the tool by going to their settings within the Twitter mobile app and clicking Twitter Ads. Advertisers who use the iPhone 5 or an earlier model should go to their Twitter profile tabs and click the gear icon; those who use an iPhone 6 or later can access the tool via the chart icon on their Twitter profiles.
The Twitter Ads companion is now available globally and accessible to advertisers on both Android and iOS devices. For more information on the tool, visit Twitter's Help Center.
