An update for the Google Offers platform will make it quicker and easier to advertise your business’ best deals online.

Today (Oct. 24) Google announced it will roll out a new creation tool that will streamline – and greatly speed up – the process of listing your deal on Google Offers by the end of the week.

According to Google, the tool will enable business owners to create and list a promotion in minutes. Simply choose the type of offer you’d like to create and assign a budget to let Google Offers know how many deals can be redeemed.

Google Offers is a service that lists and distributes promotions for local shops, restaurants and more. It enables users to discover promotions while browsing for nearby businesses on Google Maps, which alerts users to deals with a blue tag icon.

Users can also discover deals by visiting the Google Offers website directly. The platform uses a potential customer’s location, preferences and search habits to display deals the customer might like.

Your offer will also appear on your business’ Google+ Page, and in the Google Wallet mobile app.

After selecting a deal, users can save it to their Google account and redeem it with their phone next time they visit your business – no need to purchase or print a voucher ahead of time.

Better yet: If a customer saves a deal for your business, Google Offers will use GPS to issue a mobile reminder next time the customer is nearby.

The service first debuted in July.
