The latest update for the BlackBerry mobile OS makes your phone better for business.

Blackberry announced yesterday (Oct. 23) that it’s set to roll out new features this week, including a new “Priority Hub” for email, calendar enhancements, an improved keyboard and more.

The features will be available for users of BlackBerry’s flagship Z30 handset, as well as the Z10 and Q10 models.

Priority Hub monitors your email reading habits to learn which conversations are most important, then it automatically puts those messages at the top of your inbox. BlackBerry says Priority Hub will help users focus on critical items first.

New features also include instant previews of email, text and BlackBerry Messenger messages that pop up no matter what app you’re currently using. Users can quickly respond with a single swipe or choose from several automated messages.

That means business users can more easily multitask while keeping up with important messages in real time.

Messaging and social media notifications are also now displayed on your phone’s lock screen so you don’t miss an update.

BlackBerry Calendar also has new features, like an “I’m running late” function, in which users can let associates know they’re running late for a meeting with a few taps.

Meanwhile, the Docs to Go mobile office suite received a slew of small upgrades, including better find-and-replace text functionality and the ability to hide rows and columns in spreadsheets.
