Need a new job? Use your phone.
In a series of enhancements to LinkedIn's mobile app following its April overhaul, the world's largest professional network announced that users are now able to apply for jobs using their mobile phones, no resume required.
Last month, LinkedIn launched the job search feature for its mobile app. Although it was a big hit, something was missing: Job-seeking members could search for jobs, but editing their resumes on their phones to apply to those jobs was a pain.
On Monday, LinkedIn announced that members are now able to directly apply for jobs using their mobile devices. Instead of using resumes, members can send in applications using their LinkedIn profile. So whether you are searching for a job closer to home while stuck in your daily commute or are just curious about a recommended position before a dreaded meeting starts, LinkedIn members can now apply for jobs on the go.
"We have heard from many of you that you want the ability to apply directly from your mobile device but that managing and editing resumes on a small screen can be challenging," wrote Vaibhav Goel, associate product manager at LinkedIn, in a blog post. "With that in mind, we’re introducing the ability to apply for jobs without a resume attachment from mobile. For many of the jobs that interest you on LinkedIn, you can now put your best foot forward by simply using your LinkedIn profile to apply for the job."
To take advantage of this feature, members will need to download LinkedIn Mobile or upgrade their app to the latest version for iOS and Android.
Ready to find a job using your mobile phone? Apply via LinkedIn Mobile in five easy steps:

- LinkedIn uses your profile to apply for the job. (Need to update your profile? You'll have the option to edit it beforehand, right on the app)

- Hit "Submit" and cross your fingers.
