What do a media mogul, a Grammy-winning singer, a duchess and a backup quarterback all have in common? They are all among the most coveted celebrities for endorsements, according to promotions company The Marketing Arm and their Davie Brown Index.

The Davie Brown Index for endorsements looks at the influence of a celebrity based on the ability they have to affect the purchasing decisions of consumers. A recent poll rated Oprah Winfrey, Adele, Kate Middleton and Tim Tebow as the four most coveted celebrity endorsers. Other highly sought celebrity endorsers include:
- Will Smith
- Bill Gates
- Hank Aaron
- Tom Hanks
- Jack Nicklaus
The Davie Brown Index measures more than 2,800 celebrities on eight different attributes. These attributes range from appeal and aspiration to awareness and endorsement.
