Gwyneth Paltrow Site Now Dispensing Business Advice

Apparently, actress and all-around super celebrity Gwyneth Paltrow has gotten into the business of business.

The actress, who became an entrepreneur herself when she founded her lifestyle website, goop.com, has dedicated her most recent newsletter to "Starting a Small Business."

Paltrow, whose site usually focuses on food, fashion, spirituality, health and travel, decided to step into the world of business writing as the result of a request from a reader, she said.

"This week's letter was inspired by a reader who wanted real, practical tips for starting and running a small (growing) Internet business. We contacted founders of innovative, disruptive companies that we admire and intrigue us. Extremely informative. I for one learned a lot," Paltrow said on her site.

The site includes advice and tips from a variety of seasoned entrepreneurs, including the founders of photo social network Instagram and the founder of the Zagat restaurant guide.

Mixed in among the business advice are a few of Paltrow's favorite things, including three songs of the week ('80s influenced synth beauties) and an image of a red Narciso Rodriguez dress Paltrow confesses to "coveting."
