Luxco has just released Wedding Cake, the newest in its line of Pearl vodka flavors.

The Wedding Cake vodka is infused with a taste of vanilla almond cake and a hint of butter cream frosting.

The Pearl vodka that's used is created in micro-batches and distilled five times to ensure a smooth taste.

"Pearl understands and appreciates the excitement and festive grandeur associated with weddings and all the events leading up to the big day," Brian Labuda, Luxco's brands director, said in a statement. "That's why we believe Wedding Cake is truly unique and innovative in the marketplace and is the perfect indulgence with which to celebrate each stage of the wedding occasion."

To help launch the new flavor, Pearl is hosting a contest on its Facebook page for a chance to win $1,000 toward a wedding.

Luxco has been bottling, marketing and distributing a lineup of alcoholic beverages since 1958, when it was named the David Sherman Corp.  Its Pearl vodka is also sold in blueberry, pomegranate, plum, coconut, citrus, orange, cucumber and caramel flavors.

Luxco also distributes numerous other alcohol brands, including Everclear, Exotico, Hound Dog Sweet Tea Vodka and Rebel Yell.
