New Facebook App Lets Businesses Use Social Media to Sell

There's now a free social media e-commerce application in the marketplace that lets companies without online stores test the waters of social media selling. TabJuice lets businesses of all sizes tap into the shopping potential of Facebook's new iFrame platform to create customized storefronts within their existing Facebook business pages.

For companies that alreadyalready have existing sites and e-commerce solutions, TabJuice's  open-source API makes it easy for them to add social media to their marketing mix and bring the experience and functionality of their online stores to Facebook and its 550 million active users.

This application offers businesses an almost endless set of color schemes, backgrounds and custom layout options that can be customized to reflect their branding. Setup is a simple three-step process.

TabJuice storefront features include expanded shopping pages with unlimited product views per page, secure network payment processing with merchant gateway processing options that include PayPal and Authorize.net, business and social analytics, real-time tax and shipping calculations and inventory management and order tracking.

"Every company with a Facebook presence is constantly trying to find ways to transform fans into customers," said Dylan Whitman, TabJuice's founder. "And, in the e-commerce world, there is immense focus on reducing the number of steps—or clicks—a consumer must take in order to make a purchase. TabJuice's groundbreaking technology allows sellers to offer a branded shopping experience directly on their Facebook pagesp, where they are already connecting with their fans."
