MySendOff.com Lets You Plan Your Own Funeral

MySendOff.com Lets You Plan Your Own Funeral

You can add funeral planning to the list of things made infinitely easier by the Internet. The recently launched and appropriately titled Mysendoff.com is an online service that helps its members create and share their funeral wishes with at least six members of their family and friends — people that the website calls "cyber-pallbearers."

To celebrate the launch, the site is giving away a free funeral — they’ll cover up to $6,457 in costs, the 2010 North American funeral price average — to one member at the funeral home of their choice. MySendoff says there's no "expiration" date on the offer.
